The Halifax Mooseheads are pleased to announce American goaltender Anthony Terenzio has committed to play for the Mooseheads next season.  The Mooseheads selected the 17-year old Terenzio in the 6th round, 95th overall, in the QMJHL Entry Draft earlier this month.

”We’re happy to add a talented young goaltender to our roster,” stated Coach and General Manager Cam Russell.  “We recognize the importance of grooming a young goalie to backstop our team in future years and Anthony will certainly help us in that department”.

Terenzio, who is from New Canaan, Connecticut, spent last season backstopping the highly regarded Shattuck-St.Mary’s prep school program in Minnesota.  The 5’9” 160lbs netminder posted a 15-2-2 record with a 2.41 goals against average and a 0.902 save percentage last season.
