Moose lose 4-3 before biggest crowd in 3 years
The Halifax Mooseheads put up a good fight Saturday afternoon at the Metro Centre, but it just wasn't enough to hold down the high-flying Moncton Wildcats before 10,411 at the Metro Centre. The Moose led 3-1 entering the third period but could not hold the Cats down as Scott Brannon, Nicolas Deschamps and Kelsey Tessier all scored in the final frame to give Moncton the win.
Charles Bety, Garrett Clarke and Pascal Amyot scored for the Mooseheads. Peter Delmas made 29 saves in the loss. The game marked the final regular season game of the year in Moose Country this season.
The Mooseheads also handed out the hardware at their Annual Awards Show following the conclusion of the game. The winners are as follows:
